Mission Statement

To develop, establish, and maintain a botanical garden which shall provide for the education of the public with respect to home gardening and landscaping, and, for scientific horticultural study; to engage in activities, including cooperative programs with the educational institutions of Kentucky and Indiana, designed to promote and develop horticulture education and appreciation; to work with other non-profit horticultural organizations within the Kentuckian community to develop scientific and educational programs for the public; and, to engage in other activities consistent with the above indicated purposes.
